Our clients' products should not contain any harmful adulterants/contaminants. These products must be tested by a 17025 accredited laboratory using the Safe Terpene Certification testing methodologies and approved reference standards. This is the core of the Safe Terpene Certification.
If a Safe Terpene Certified product is found to contain something on our Black List, that company is required to do an immediate audit and rectify the problem in their supply chain/process immediately. If they do not take those actions immediately, the entire company will lose their certification.
Safe Terpene Certification is focused on providing transparency for consumers to take back control over their products. Most supply chain problems are easy to fix, we just have to identify them. The world of health and consumer safety is evolving at a rapid pace. The world needs to be more proactive about identifying potential areas of harm and transitioning to newer and safer materials.
